Meet The Execs: Emma McArdle-Daniels

From actively quoting Lady Sovereign to running our local project Homemade and being on the Presentation Team this Nationals Competition, Emma McArdle-Daniels is a liver of life (with no regrets!)

Name and Course
Emma McArdle-Daniels, Law

What interested you in Enactus?
The chance to make such a significant difference, and listening to people from Enactus speaking about what we do was incredible, couldn’t turn down the chance to work with such driven and inspirational people.

What do you want to do after your degree?
Go into either HR or the police

Most interesting lecture/information you have learned about your degree so far?
There was a case in the UK in the 1990s where the members of a jury used a Ouija board to come to their decision. Seriously.

If you weren’t studying/doing what you are now, what would you be doing instead?
Being paramedic is my dream job but I am frightened of needles and very clumsy and quite squeamish so I felt like it probably wasn’t going to work out for me in practice.

Least Favourite Word?
Literally

Most Favourite Word?
Pacific

Favourite Band and Why?
The Kinks, because 'Waterloo Sunset'

What is something you hope everyone experiences?
Old El Paso enchiladas – if you are reading this, buy them, make them, eat them. Thank me later.

Advice to joining Enactus members?
Take every opportunity and make the most of this unique experience

Favourite thing about Enactus?
Being able to achieve the most incredible things and the people are just unlike anyone else you could meet at university!

What do you say to your haters?
‘Love me or hate me, it’s still an obsession’ - Lady Sovereign, 2k6.

Aw ye.
